My Bonava

Your personal page is available online. This is where you can report any problems, view the status of ongoing cases and find more information about your home. All you need to do is create an account and log in with your email address.

When moving into your new home

Moving into a brand-new home is a special feeling. Just as you need to settle in and feel at home, the building needs to settle in too. When moving in, it is good to know what may affect a newly built home in the early days.

  • During the initial period, there may still be construction dust circulating in the air. Even though we have cleaned the home several times, the dust may have found its way under skirting boards and mouldings, for example.
  • A newly built house needs time to settle. This means that cracks may occur in ceiling angles and corners. Any cracks that occur will be rectified at the two-year inspection.
  • During the first year, the humidity may be perceived as higher as the property continues to dry out a little more after moving in.
  • The maintenance responsibility means that you have an obligation to keep your home in good condition. It is also worth noting that the contractor’s warranty only covers faults in the construction and not due to lack of maintenance.
